Tree Silkies- Silkies are simple. In a
world of bells and whistles and one-trick toys, they float on a
whisper of possibility, inviting children to touch their softness
and experiment with movement and colour, letting their minds and
bodies take the lead. They are an open ended, child directed toy
with enormous play value ~ their only limit is the limitless
imagination of a child!
We have distributed over 4000 pieces of hand dyed (in our kitchen!) silk to children around the world. Every piece is dyed to order and we have over 30 solid colours and a growing line of excusive colorways (including our new Art Inspired line!) along with our standard seasonal palettes which make it easy to choose sets!
We use food grade dyes for home use silks. For schools, day cares, dance classes and other public groups we use low impact (and non-toxic, of course!) dyes that will withstand the greater wash & wear of multiple users.
Silk Dress up- Silk is so beautiful, versatile and durable we couldn't resist creating a line of dress up wear for boys and girls. We offer our Wonder Wearable™
(reversible, versatile all-in-one dress up), Wonder Bands™ , Play Capes and Fairy Garlands in any and all of our colours. Outdoor Play- Twirligigs™are a hit! Dance, spin, run ~ a toy that doesn't work unless your child moves. We also have a fun line of Comet Balls made with wool and silk and meant to FLY.

Sculptures & Accessories- Each wool piece is
one of a kind and is the result of thousands of needle pokes~ it
is a time consuming craft, but the wool works up with such vivid
life and wonder, it is worth every pricked finger! Custom scultpure available on a limited basis as time permits, do inquire.
