Needle Felted Toys & Playscapes
All of our felted items are made with new, clean, carded wool and we make every effort to indicate what specific type of wool and felting (wet and/or needle) is used for each creation.
Wool is a wonderful fiber for toys!
It is natural. It takes on the warmth of a child's hands. It can be washed (we provide care instructions) . It will last for many, many years.
Wool toys are not recommended for children who still mouth their toys.
Each wool piece is one of a kind and is the result of thousands of needle pokes~ it is a time consuming craft, but the wool works up with such vivid life and wonder, it is worth every pricked finger!
We keep a wide and changing variety of toys in stock. We also have staples like our whimsical felted balls (Hedgehogs, Bunnies, Walruses and more!) and counting sets generally available.
We are excited to be adding playscapes to our shop! Playscapes are handmade wonderful worlds for imagination to explore. Perfect for small hands, these open ended toys allow a child the space and inspiration to escape into the world of wonder.
